Odíhg Tshtierikuiē (Tshtieri /kuj/ [arsenal] [puddle]) is a subtropical Town located in Trántzmurl Eplárd Hold, Novfàg Provence, within the Tauranian United Provinces.

The name Odíhg Tshtierikuiē is derived from the Tauric language, as Odíhg Tshtierikuiē was founded by Zraz Belíhgā Edwaladr, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Odíhg Tshtierikuiē has a yearly average temperature of 26°C (78°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 29°C (84°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 23°C (73°F). Odíhg Tshtierikuiē receives an average of 273 cm/y (107 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Overview

Odíhg Tshtierikuiē was founded durring the late 14th century in summer of the year 1280, by Zraz Belíhgā Edwaladr. The establishment of Odíhg Tshtierikuiē was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Odíhg Tshtierikuiē's construction back out of the project. Zraz Belíhgā Edwaladr pushed on reguardles, and Odíhg Tshtierikuiē was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Odíhg Tshtierikuiē was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Odíhg Tshtierikuiē is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Odíhg Tshtierikuiē is buildings are arranged arround a single narrow packed earth mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the town a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks, spikes, and fences to provide some protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. The town's minimaly adiquite are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.

Odíhg Tshtierikuiē has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Odíhg Tshtierikuiē’s streets. A look around Odíhg Tshtierikuiē has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s everything together. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Odíhg Tshtierikuiē long.

There’s more than one leader in Odíhg Tshtierikuiē, but at least some of them are at each other’s throats. It might be a conflict between formal leadership and informal authorities, or it could be a struggle among civil officials. Their interests might diverge sharply, or it could be a personal grudge that’s boiled over. Outside threats and internal problems are likely being ignored until the power struggle is resolved.

Odíhg Tshtierikuiē's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by dynamic designs and complex architectural plan forms; intended to heighten feelings of motion and sensuality, and frequently based on the oval. It made extensive and extreme use of: Grandeur, Contrast, Curves and twists, Rich surface treatments, Gilded statuary, Bright colors, Vividly painted ceilings, Fragmented or deliberately incomplete elements, Large-scale frescoes, Dramatic central projections on an external facade, the use of plaster, stucco, or marble finishing, Illusory effects such as trompe l’oeil, and pear-shaped domes. While beloved by the nobility, the common folk tended to despise the style due to the massive consumption of resources required for even a small building constructed in this style.

Odíhg Tshtierikuiē's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves creating small tokens to channel Elven High Magic energies of tier 1 via recitation of scripture.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Odíhg Tshtierikuiē was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Odíhg Tshtierikuiē lost 169 people, 380 livestock, and 58 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 150, when members of Odíhg Tshtierikuiē's militia enacted an operation to liberate a particular research site from the enemy. The operation was complicated by the militia had access to far less resources than expected. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in victory for Odíhg Tshtierikuiē's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Odíhg Tshtierikuiē's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
